Bellerophon, it’s associates and
vendors, are engineered for online transmission of information.
In general, proofs are disseminated via .jpg. or .pdf format.
It is assumed that proofs can be printed locally if desired.
Native application, .pdf (in any style desired) and .jpeg (or
other graphic formats) proofs can be sent to an email box, an
.ftp site, or to a local service provider. Color proofs for
covers and b/w proofs for text can be printed and shipped but
for the sake of time and expense are usually not. BP prefers
that prints be made by the house that will do the final imaging
to be used as contract proofs.
Bellerophon maintains it’s own .ftp
site for customers who wish or need to use it to conduct
business with Bellerophon.
